Frequently asked questions
- Is Emotionly a doctor or therapist?
- No. Emotionly is a personal reflection tool to help you explore the connection between physical sensations and emotions. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a replacement for professional healthcare.
- Where is my data stored?
- By default, your reflections stay on your device. If you sign in with Apple and enable cloud sync, your data can be backed up for access across devices. Nothing is sent to our servers unless you explicitly turn on cloud sync.
- What languages are supported?
- The app is available in English and German. This website is also available in both languages.
- How do I subscribe to Emotionly Plus?
- Subscriptions are purchased in the iOS app through the App Store. Open Emotionly, go to settings or the upgrade screen, and choose a plan. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device Settings.
- Can Emotionly tell me what's wrong with me?
- No. Emotionly does not diagnose conditions or tell you what a sensation means medically. It offers a space for personal, emotional reflection — if you have health concerns, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
- What if I'm in crisis or have an emergency?
- Emotionly is not an emergency or crisis service. If you are in danger, experiencing severe symptoms (such as chest pain or stroke signs), or having thoughts of self-harm, please seek immediate help from emergency services or a qualified professional.
- Is there an Android version?
- An Android build exists, but iOS is our primary platform today. Download Emotionly from the App Store for the full experience.
- How does the free tier work?
- You can use Emotionly as a guest with AI usage limits. Emotionly Plus offers 20× higher daily and weekly limits for deeper exploration.
